You Want A Decision When?

You’ve been there before. Someone wants an answer NOW, then does nothing with it until days later.

We don’t always need to make decisions quickly. We might be able to provide it later in the day, next week, or maybe not all. Or maybe it could be answered better by someone else.

So when you have someone who needs an answer now, get some more specifics first, including when that answer is actually needed, is there anyone else that can provide it, how much of an answer is actually needed and when are they doing their next action.

Consider This…
– Jot down times when you’ve been rushed for a decision
– Think of other ways you could have handled them
– Develop your own alternatives to better handle the pressures
